Life's a funny journey. It's amazing how much we want to be unfazed by the reality around us, choosing instead to stand still and watch the world spin around us. Human beings are made to adapt and change, but more often than not we would always prefer to be stagnant and reject growth.
Being awake since 4am in the morning, I decided to take a morning run. And I really love running next to the canal, without any contact with the outside world, just me, running on a path listening to nature and breathing in nature. It made me realize. The world goes on around us, whether we like it or not. Time is always but a passing moment, and once it has passed it is gone and out of sight. I realize how much I have neglected myself, choosing instead to rely on the insatiable craving inside of me. I constantly seek for attention, yet do not pay enough attention to myself.
To that person closest to my heart now, we are both in need of growth, and hopefully we can help each other grow and strengthen each other. Its time for me to learn to appreciate my own time, so that you won't have your guilt. Its time for you to let go of your past, so that I won't have my misgivings. Life is a journey of growth... and I really wish to travel that journey together with you :)
